Finally it was a beautiful day with no chance of rain at all, so I pulled out my new suede Acne boots that I bought oh-so long ago…

I’m falling into a routine with my wardrobe, for sure, but it’s comfortable. I think it’s pretty perfect, actually. I don’t need to think very much in the morning when I’m putting on an outfit (although that’s not to say that I don’t fall victim to feeling gross some mornings which prevents me from liking anything I choose) and it still looks put together. At least I think so. I’m getting into a VERY good spot.
On another note, shortly after I bought my KARA Dry Bag, I got word that there was a KARA sample sale, and so I promptly ran over and picked up this little guy, called the Stowaway. I’d been carrying around the same dang Coach purse for years and it’s beat to hell in a terrific way, but it’s definitely not something that suits every outfit. So now when I’m feeling a little more business than casual, I reach for this cutie.

I received a windfall in the form of an Amex gift card and, after much deliberation, decided to buy myself a new bag. I spend a lot of time on my wardrobe, choosing things very carefully, and bags are an item I have the most trouble with. I want good leather and a very simple shape that COULD function with a nicer outfit as well as be casual and it can’t be too big… Finally I found the KARA Small Dry Bag, which is really all that I could have asked for. It can be worn as this sling bag style, or with a couple snap adjustments it becomes a bucket bag. The thick, pebbled leather will age beautifully, and how stunning is that zipper? (I know, I am a nerd.) You can see more of designer Sarah Law’s collection here.
